The idea of the syndicate model is that real estate is withdrawn from the market and the collective handling of residential property is promoted. The house is then no longer privately owned, but shared by the tenants, who live in the Marlene and help finance their rent. A sale of the house is excluded by the statutes.

With the establishment of the Marlene house project, we want to preserve our open space and neighborhood in Clemensstrasse and ensure that rents here remain affordable.

Marlene is actively committed to preserving the Blue Angel and Professor Unrats, which are located on the ground floor of the house. Because cultural life must also remain affordable and accessible to everyone.
